Todd Brittingham was born in Orlando, Florida in 1963. He graduated from Ringling College of Art in 1988 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Since 1988, Brittingham has been the owner and operator of Angelmaker Studios.

During this time he has been creating a group of paintings, sculptures, and large-scale outdoor land drawings that he calls "Sky Messages".

Brittingham currently resides and works in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He has shown his work throughout the United States and Internationally.
